I think it is made even more essential by of the amount of remote working that happens in businesses these days, and the downward pressure on travel budgets (which is a good thing!).

Businesses need to work with the largest talent pool they can muster, technology like this definitely helps – There is no point hiring good people, then not having the tools to enable them to share their ideas.
