I am sorry that I didn't have the chance to meet you as I arrived late after teaching at school, did my session on Social Media & Young People & then scarpered to run compere an unconference. However, I wanted to express through your blog, my thanks to all who contributed to my session and made it, at least for me, a fascinating experience which opened my mind to SO MUCH POTENTIAL for the role of Amplified in trying to effect Real Change in the way young people are exposed to Social Media. I want to run with the dream that NOW is the time that we can inform policy makers that they can't dither about this, and that they should be encouraging all educational establishments to embrace and harness the technologies that young people REALLY use daily rather than the limited range of so-called 'safe' tools they are allowed to use in educational establishments.

Interesting post, interesting idea, interesting perspective..
I never thought of it like that...
Now that I read your thoughts, it's got me thinking..
We truly are amplified, and what if we can find ways of aligning along common interests, and amplifying our thoughts and ideas, and voices ever further, ever faster, ever more aligned?
Thanks for sharing.. I so so wish I had been able to get there.. I know that we are in the midst of something historical in the making.. It's definitely time to start bringing our voices together, and filtering out the noise :)

It's only a few hours since you posted this, and there are 60+ pages of #amp08 tweets and counting. As the Amplified 08 logo suggests, the dial on the amp goes to 11 and beyond.
