Unlike iGTD and Actiontastic (both promise to remain free), Thinking Rock 2 does not SEEM to integrate with iCal, Mail, Address Book, or Safari. Or am I wrong?

ThinkingRock does have to ability to publish to iCal and version 2 does support URLs. Version 2’s email function (which is mostly to do with task delegation) doesn’t seem to be there yet… I guess we’ll see. I think it is great that there are a range of choices now - very different to even just a year ago. For me, actiontastic’s coolness is in the quick silver integration. However, now that both tools are heading to being open source, who knows how the feature sets might accelerate! The big win with TR for me, is having a consistent tool for both mac and pc. I’d love to have the same for PocketPC.

Hi,
You can now benefit from your PPC if you use TR.
I have developed a new ThinkingRock PPC companion (released under GPL). Maybe it can interest you. It is not at TR replacement but just a simple companion that allows to view your next actions on the PPC and to prepare on the PPC new thoughts to be exported to TR.

In any case, I would be happy to have your suggestions for development.
You can read about it at the following page:

Very cordially,

Murat

Hi Murat,

Sounds interesting! I’ve always wanted ThinkingRock on a handheld device!
