It is that time of year, you know the one, where things come to an end and new things begin. It is a great time to reflect on longer term goals and longer term “what needs doing” items and actions. An interesting twist in this is focusing on what things you need to stop doing. What are they? What needs to cease with the end of the year, to leave room for the new things, and more importantly the right things, that need to start happening next. As well as those “next year I will” lists, have a “next year I won’t, so that I can…” list. Start to wind up and clear out. Take a breath, make some space and enjoy the transition. Write that hit list right now.
